Willkommen

Der Deutsch-Afghanische Frauenverein (kurz GAWA) hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die sehr schwierige Situation der Frauen in Afghanistan zu verbessern. Ganz wesentlich ist dabei die Gleichberechtigung in Kombination mit Bildung und der Vermittlung von Demokratie, Werten und Recht.

Diese Ziele sollen über zwei Wege erreicht werden:

1. Beschaffen von finanziellen Mitteln in Deutschland und die Unterstützung durch deutsche Frauen sowie Organisationen.
2. Afghan Women StartUp Program: Bildung und Ausbildung von Frauen zum Unternehmertum mit 1zu1 Mentoring und Mikrokrediten in Afghanistan.

Welcome

The goals of the German Afghan Women Association (abbreviation GAWA) are to improve the difficult situation of Afghan women in their country through gender equality in combination with education and conveying of democracy, values and law.

These goals will be reached through two paths:

1. Gathering of funds in Germany and getting the support of German women and organizations.
2. Afghan Women StartUp Program: Education and training of women to become entrepreneurs including 1to1 mentoring and microcredits in Afghanistan.
